- 2 - Participants
All licensed radio amateurs are welcome.

- 3 - Categories
There is only one category:
Category 1 = MIXED-mode, meaning SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK.

- 4 - Bands
Logging takes place on all HF bands, i.e. 1.8, 3.5, 7, 10, 14, 18, 21, 24 and 28 MHz.

- 5 - Summary sheet
Summary sheet shall include the following information: your callsign, your surname and given name, your e-mail address, possible remarks and observations and the following signed declaration: "I hereby declare that I shown in my score sheet truly information. I accept the decision of the Trophy manager.”
Personal score should be forwarded in any electronic form close to sample:

Where is first is period, second is mode, then group of band/worked/confirmed, the last one is total score.

- 6 - Points
Each worked DXCC country for Trophy period for each mode in competition period counts only once per band and counts for one (1) point.

- 7 - Multipliers
Each confirmed DXCC country for Trophy period for each mode in competition period counts only once per band and counts for two (2) multiplier points.

- 8 - Total score
The TOTAL SCORE is calculates as sum of total scores for EACH MODE. Total score for each mode calculates as quantity of points for worked countries multiplied to quantity of multiplier points.(Soft for easier calculation can be downloaded on sites of UKRAINE OPEN: www.qsl.net/ur5fav/ )

- 9 - Winner
The winner is the participant with the highest TOTAL SCORE.

- 10 - Submission of summary sheet
Provisional (intermediate) summary sheets SHOULD be submitted in arbitrary order, but NOT LESS than TWO times per calendar year, these sheets must contain the information outlined in par. 5 above. Final sheets must reach the Trophy manager by the end of the month following the last day of calendar year.
Closing date for submission of final sheets for TROPHY UKRAINE OPEN 2004 = January 31st 2005
Participants, occupied FIRST THREE PLACES will be requested to send to address of Trophy manager their final sheets, confirmed by two licensed amateurs and originals of QSL-cards(no e-QSL accepted) for check-in. After check-in all QSL’s will be send back on sponsor account. Sheets that are sent after the deadline will not be considered for the competition.

- 11 - Results
Both the interim results and the final results will be published on the UKRAINE OPEN web pages ( www.qsl.net/ur5fav/ ), in the URDX reflector ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/URDX/ ).

- 12 - Address
Logs and summary sheets should be sent to the Trophy manager only via E-mail ( [email protected] ).

- 13 - Awards and prizes

• 13.1 The participant placed first will receive a CUP with engraved callsign and year of victory. Also the winner will be entitled to receive fm sponsor 250 USD, for Ukrainian Ham it will be equivalent in UAH, for Russian Ham it will be equivalent in RUR.

• 13.2 Participant placed second will receive an appropriate award. Also the second place will be entitled to receive from sponsor 150 USD, for Ukrainian Ham it will be equivalent in UAH, for Russian Ham it will be equivalent in RUR.

• 13.3 Participant placed third will receive an appropriate award. Also the third place will be entitled to receive from sponsor 70 USD, for Ukrainian Ham it will be equivalent in UAH, for Russian Ham it will be equivalent in RUR.

- 14 - Disqualification
Disqualification will be issued in case of lack of coincidence between claimed result and result after check-in.
